Welcome to our Classic Artists Page

This page is dedicated to those electro pioneers who took the musical risks and became the roots to our modern-day electronic music genre.   Within this page are also links to where you can find more information and buy those hard to get collectable tracks.

John Foxx (Electro Pioneer)

John Foxx the original lead vocalist of Ultravox spilt from his successful band to pursue a solo career and in 1980 produced a concept album Metamatic that influenced many young artists. Metamatic with its cold, grey monophonic themes, mechanical beats and eerie 50s sci-fi sounds became the benchmark for many modern electro tracks.

Bill Nelson (Electro Pioneer) (1956-2006)

The innovator of new sounds and guitar hero of the late seventies took his career down a very risky road in 1978 after splitting up from his successful band Be Bop Deluxe. He then decided to explore new possibilities with his new concept band Red Noise mixing post punk beats with synthesisers and electric guitars, which pushed the boundaries of rock smack into the 80s influencing many young artists to drop the guitar riffs and introduced them to the exciting world of electronic music.
