Pseudo Psycho
Album Review: Adult Mind Music (Wish you were here!)
Star Rating: *****
This is the debut album from this clandestine artist, and if Inspiration is your thing, just take a journey into the harsh but interesting world of Pseudo Psycho. This album has been given tag of Adult Mind Music, well lets say I don't think a boy band will be covering this marital, but if you need something with a bit of an edge and like quality production this album should be put in your basket!

New Wave Electro (Various Artists)

This fantastic release shot through with the kind of dynamic vibe that shakes your bones. Its been dripped in the spirit of electro pioneers such as The Human League and New Order and the artists featured here also have those bands’ ear for a tune. And tunes are very much order of the day. There’s no mindless electronic assault, just simply some of the most soulful, uplifting and thrilling stuff I’ve heard in a long while.
It’s all been put together by a local label and as you’d expect, there’s a decent sprinkling of tracks from local artists including Sharplicks (S.L) – weighing in with three funky groovers – and Techno Fear whose “Tracy” calls to mind Saint Etienne at their most joyous. It’s all real feelgood music which can be enjoyed on the dancefloor, in the car or indeed at 8.30am in the morning when your workplace suddenly becomes transformed into a emporium of hedonistic delights.
